Just touching base with an update for anyone that still might bother reading this blog. My financial woes have only gotten worse since my last post and the legal crap I was tied up in still hasn't ended and the only person holding things up at this point is the judge that won't make a ruling on the case. Administrative Judge, Administrative issue about money I have been owed for a long time and for three months I've been waiting on the judge to make a ruling and at this point it looks like the tunnel I am in is very long, very dark and has no light at the end. If the judge decides, as I am beginning to suspect, to just not make a ruling at all, there is no law or proceedure I can use to challenge her not deciding short of appealing to my local district of federal court for a Writ of Mandamus ordering her to do her job and make a decision, and sadly, the judge has plenty of motivation to drag this out forever.

I guess you'll need to do what you gotta do, man. If it's any consolation, financial woes are all around, so we're all going to shit together.

It's nearly run me bankrupt at this point. The fight has been going on for over 9 years and my lawyer says that I've no doubt won the case with overwhelming evidence in my favor, if she ever decides to get off her duff and just make the decision. As is, I am working on drafting a letter to my congressman about it. He has already stepped in once, three years ago, to kick some beaurocrats in the ass to get the case moving again, and I'm hoping he is willing to do the same with the judge.
