Lack of Progress Report

Alright. This is just an update to say that absolutely nothing has actually been done toward my publishing efforts since getting ahold of Adobe Acrobat.. Not writer's block. Rather too many distractions from other things in my life an inability to even find the right headspace to do game design from. Some of the issues will actually require more of my time as we go into the summer as they are photography and Oregon Country Fair related. Others are more personal and I won't even get into them here. This is not the place and to be honest I don't want to turn this place into a profanity central and if I even start on explaining my current source stresses here, I'd be on a rant cussing like a sailor within 2 sentences.

Don't know when I will be able to get back in the swing of things. I hope it is soon... I hope I can actually get myself to do some drawing. I invested in some modeling resources that will be a waste of money if I don't ever do anything with them and I really do see stock art as one of the nickle and dime sources of income that could get the company off the ground publishing... and art is something I find easier to do than the more brain-straining task of hashing out game material. With the art, it's just a matter of finding the time and the peace to sit still long enough to actually do it.

At any rate, I just thought it was necessary to touch base for the small handful that actually care or have an interest in this blog.

Oh... On the otherhand, there is one thing that there has been a little progress on, but not a lot. The TAGE die concept. There is slow movement in getting price quotes from some game companies that have the means to crunch out such things in batches of 5000 at a time, but that's not what I'd actually call progress. The progress is on the end of actually having some real concept art. If the images were handy now, I'd upload them with this post, but they aren't. Instead I'll just say that I do have a couple of 3d rendered images of a TAGE die, showing the most simple of the icons I have come up with for the two special faces on the die. I am trying to get the friend helping me to crunch me out some more images that I can pick from to post, but regardless, I'll have a picture of a die-TAGE posted sometime in the relatively near future, even if it's one of the two basic ones I already have.

Anyway, take care until next post.
